Jiao Da is a domestic in the Ningguo house. He is depicted in the Chapter 7 as a drunkard, claiming that he saved the life of the deceased lord (husband of Grandmother Jia / to be confirmed). In that same chapter he claim that Qin Keqing has incestuous affair with her father-in-law by saying that she is "crawling in the ashes" (爬灰 pahui) which is a chinese saying meaning that. Note: Due to his young age, Baoyu is unable to understand the meaning and ask Wang Xifeng for explanation, but she asked him to stop listening to the talking of a drunkard and let him in the ignorance. It is unclear whether Baoyu is aware of this blot of Keqing's reputation or not.
